Phreezdrydsays...It just feels too easy and lame to pick on the jesus freak not getting his prayer answered, but the way they act like a persecuted minority makes me wanna point and laugh at them all the more.
dystopianfuturetodaysays...I think many Christians would agree that it is arrogant to think God would be concerned with the success of celebrities or professional sports teams.
messengersays...I acknowledge my privilege in being a middle-class white able-bodied straight guy. I'm strongly in favour of equality for everyone, even if it reduces my privilege (it actually never does -- that's a myth). But when minorities scrounge for any excuse to characterize themselves as persecuted to win some sympathy contest, it turns me right off, and I have to remind myself that they do have a point, but this just ain't it.>> ^Phreezdryd:
