Bill Clinton Talks about Bin Laden on Letterman

Former President Bill Clinton comments very well on Usama Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, and 9/11 one year after the attack.

Of course one has to mention that the hasty decision to redirect US military assets to Iraq pretty much assured the job would not be finished, and Osama Bin Laden who was US enemy target number 1 post 9/11 suddenly became irrelevant and was allowed to reconstitute his operations in Warizstan and Southern Afghanistan.

caveat; Not that capturing Bin Laden is of any importance to the administration really, he's the bogey man they can always rely on to pacify dissenting voices, that and 9/11.

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)

What an in depth critique of a politician ^ Hmmm, bites his lip, and gives a thumbs up. Man, that's treasonous stuff there. Thank goodness we have a non-lip-biter like Mr. Bush.

rehearsed, or at least controlled interview. ass-licking by clinton of bush, with a bunch of lies sprinkled on top.

Bush 1989-1993
Clinton 1993-1997
Clinton 1997-2001
Bush 2001-2004
Bush 2004-2008...

...another Clinton?
Stop the madness!!

jwraysays...

Bombing the camp of Bin Laden was a stupid idea. They should have sent in elite paramilitary forces to collect evidence on the ground instead of bombing all the evidence into oblivion.

Smugglarnsays...

Paramilitary forces?! You mean paratroopers, jwray. That and they couldn't get permission from the neighbouring countries for those kinds of operations. And yes you do need permissions and bases near or they would all die, but then you don't think things trough do you?

Oreilly? tsk...
