Dear LORD, fire up your fucking proton packs!

I haven't laughed so hard at anything in months as at that sudden stabbing of the remote up his own butt, right after he "comes out of the closet". It's as if in that moment he just wanted to rebel and the best way to rebel in his subconscious mind is to go take some dick up the ass. If it's fake, then it's one of the most genius pieces of comedy ever written and performed. If it's real it's so goddamn funny that I think my head is going to explode.

I withheld my vote right until the end because I wanted to see if this was fake. I don't think it's fake. The kid recording seems genuinely thrilled that he's about to ruin his brother's life. That's his wireless webcam right? Or did he just start recording on his brother's webcam and run out of the room?

Jaacesays...

Okay, so if this IS real...then WoW is clearly like heroine. I don't play WoW...mostly because of crazies, but this guy takes the cake.

If this ISN'T real...then where did the "thespian" get his inspiration?

Also, sticking remotes up your ass doesn't get your mom to give your WoW account back.

EndAllsays...

O_O

that was the most 'WTF' thing I've seen in a very long time. and not just the 'attempted anal penetration' via remote, but the sounds he was making.. fuckin' eh. he seemed possessed.. by a WoW demon. that shit is computer crack. this'll make top 15 fer sure. i wonder how long his little brother will be alive after he finds out about this! :l

KamikazeCricketsays...

Sounds like his mom should have canceled the account a long time ago. Along with his cell phone, removing his TV from his room, and not allowing him to go to LAN parties until all of his homework is done. I'll bet this is the son of a lawyer in Orange County or something. At least he is taking his anger out on his bed instead of his brother or his dog.

tsquire1says...

I thought the same thing about the drug use here. The similarities between this kid freaking out about Wow and a junkie demanding a fix are numerous. He was shaking, screaming, and altogether losing his mind. If this is fake, gj. If not, I am not of the opinion that teenagers playing mmo's are indeed crack junkies

videosiftbannedmesays...

Holy shit. Way to go raising your kid, parents! I'm glad they took it away from him now...any later and he'd be climbing a bell tower with a 30-06.

edit: Ok, I just watched it again. Anyone notice the magic act? He throws the blanket over his head and next thing he's undressed. I don't think Dave Copperfield could have done it better.

vairetubesays...

I dont even think I can sift anything else now. I mean, what's the point...

Nibiyabi is the winner of the Internet, June 20 2009.

He sets the camera up in a small time frame he knows is available between "downstairs yelling" and the "visit to room". I only believe it's real because I too, am insane...

Stormsingersays...

Having worked in the industry, you can indeed cancel an account immediately. It may not be common, but we certainly did it for parents that were using the action as a punishment, or just because the child was too addicted for it to be allowed to continue.

We also canceled accounts "on our own" for a few parents that were too afraid of their child's reaction should they find out that the parent closed the account. In the one case that I bothered to research, I could certainly understand the mother's fear...that kid was seriously scary (in a "I like to torture my pet rabbits with propane torches" kind of way), and you couldn't pay me to be left alone with him.

BoneyDsays...

1. Brother gives laughing intro.
2. Freakout overreaction boy walks in immediately after.
3. Entire freakout happens neatly within frame.
4. Leaves room in time for victorious brother to return for his 'goldmine'

So very *fake.

Psychologicsays...

This should be on National Geographic.

Even if this is fake, it isn't unrealistic. I've seen people freak out to a similar degree when their internet would go down during a raid. In their case it was blinding rage though, the kind that produces large holes in walls.

You can't really blame the game though, anymore than you can blame gambling, sex, or anything else that people get addicted to (which is pretty much anything). WoW is fun, and for many it is more fun than normal boring life. Take that away suddenly and the reaction can be violent (and sometimes hilarious).

Creaturesays...

Hilarious.

If it is a fake those kids did a damned good job. Not that whether or not it was staged really matters. I've known kids that age that will flip out like that any time their parents take something they like away. Teens aren't exactly known for their ability to take things in stride.

Sagemindsays...

I couldn't tell you if the setup was fake or not, but what I do know is that was a real Tantrum - I've got kids - My daughter could give this guy a run for his money and them some - You want a challenge, Have a 12 year old daughter!

Trust me, my daughter came out screaming and she's never stopped since!

That was so real (to me) I've been there.
And I don't think a young mind strung out on Digital Crack could control an outburst if cut off from the engaging world of Wow. Anyone who has played should agree it's tough to quit, now imagine a young, undeveloped mind grossly hooked. Every day he has played, every minute, every effort every hope, all the gear, everything, wiped out and deleted - what could be a year of his young life of brainwashing has been wiped out! - He freaked but it's up to the parent to pull the plug at this stage.

poolcleanersays...

That is too realistic to be fake. If it is fake, this kid wins an Oscar. I've seen kids throw temper tantrums and I've seen kids throw fake temper tantrums. This is fuckin' real and it's sad. That's some major inferiority complex shit goin' there with the anal remote control. Holy shit.

ForgedRealitysays...

Yeah dude, that kid's too good at yelling "I'm gunna run away and never come back" for this to be fake. A faker wouldn't be able to muster a convincing yell like that, at least not without choking halfway through and having it turn into a laugh, or at least crack a smile, you know what I mean? I admit the timing of the kid running in and out is rather suspect, but damn, if this is fake, that's the best damn 11 year old actor in history.

ponceleonsays...

I'm kind of thinking fake,

But a few points.

1. You can in fact cancel an account. If you are the parent, you can cancel the subscription AND change the account password. Therefore rendering it inaccessible. My co-worked had to do this to his kid. Luckily, his kid just shifted interests to something else...
2. The "did you see that?" at the end is suspect. The brother didn't "see" anything, how does he know there was anything funny to "see?" My first reaction upon retrieving the camera would be to say "did you head that?"
3. The timing is just too perfect. Why did the brother think to put it down/pick it up when he did...

... all that said, I'd love to know more about it... it is funny enough that I'd take credit for it if I had made it and it was fake.

harrysays...

Can I have his epics?

I'm probably a WoW addict myself. I would be very, very careful giving kids access to games like this. It's probably not a good idea to pay for your kids account. If they choose to spend their own money on one, that's their decision (well, within reason).

Sarzysays...

Yeah, aside from the timing being a bit too spot-on, the framing of the freak-out area is a bit too perfect considering how quickly the brother had to put down the camera (ie. he must have had to practice that), plus the guy conveniently stays within the camera's frame the whole time. Also: sticking the remote up his ass? The whole thing is way too comical to be real, though he is doing a really good job of faking a tamper tantrum.

Psychologicsays...

>> Yeah, aside from the timing being a bit too spot-on, the framing of the freak-out area is a bit too perfect considering how quickly the brother had to put down the camera (ie. he must have had to practice that), plus the guy conveniently stays within the camera's frame the whole time.

It's hard to tell anything about the framing without seeing the rest of the room. If the bed is up against the left wall and there are clothes/etc on the floor to the right of the camera (not uncommon for a boy's room at that age) then that may have been the only open floorspace in the room.

>> The "did you see that?" at the end is suspect.

Doesn't seem too out of place to me. He could certainly hear what was going on and probably had a pretty good idea that the guy would be in frame if the room was small. It's also possible that he was monitoring the feed from another room if it was a wireless camera.

Either way, it was a reasonable thing to say since he would only have eventually released the video if there was something on it worth seeing.

Yea, it's possibly fake, but I'm not convinced. I can't imagine both of them acting that well. From a psychology standpoint, there was a level of accuracy in the emotional distress that would absolutely astound me coming from an actor that young.

videosiftbannedmesays...

>> ^budzos:
You see him kick off his tearaways as soon as he sits on the bed with the blanket.

Oh yeah, saw that. I was just saying he should play Vegas with a talent like that. Then he could afford his own account, and regain his virtual LoveRemote, instead of using the real thing.

longdesays...

I think this situation had been brewing for a while, and finally came to a head right before the sibling activiated the camera. I also think it within the realm of reason that the freakout kid has a history of bad tantrums, so that the sibling had a good idea what was coming.

He just never counted on a remote to the ass.....ewwww. Seriously, I hope this kid gets the help he needs; I hope the parents get the parenting classes they need.

ROFL, well I've seen a kid try to sodomize himself with a remote for WoW...even those this is probably fake.

Also, I've seen real freak-out videos and they aren't much less of a freak-out than this one. I am sticking with WoW = video-game *drugs.

I dunno man, I'm leaning heavily towards fake myself, but I still think it is all kinds of funny. Real or fake, the remote in the anus just tickles me pink. (that last part being a setup for a joke folks, have at it).

Edit: I mean, let's face it, WoW makes people rather... uh... high strung: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPt1bckqJmU&feature=related

Edgeman2112says...

I think it's legit. The brother would know how much he would freakout if he knows his brother suffers from some sort of mental condition or adrenaline disorder... heh.

You would have to put some serious effort to fake that. Do you really have the endurance to freakout in that manner for that long? That's adrenaline and pure rage.

NetRunnersays...

I'll steer clear of the real/fake debate, and merely suggest that perhaps it's not about being addicted to a game, but coming to rely on the friendship of the people within it, and the sense of purpose and achievement that it can bestow.

To then have a parent who may or may not understand that take it away from you can be traumatic, and one of the hallmarks of being a teenager is having a very loose grasp on your emotional responses.

Trying to stick a remote up your butt just seems weird though.

dannym3141says...

I love all the "I'm a mum", "I'm an actor", "I'm a psychologist", "I work for blizzard" comments, all of them saying "...and i say this is definitely not fake! I've seen it!"

It's such a load of old hogwash when people say that shit. Validating your own opinion based on something either completely unrelated to the actual events, or your own ability/experience.

I'm NOT a gullible freak, and i can tell this is fake. It's a very funny, very well done fake, and if anything that makes the video better for me. Well done lads, that was very very well written and performed.

I don't know how anyone could be this addicted, it scares me. I play WoW, I've got a maxed out character (freakin lvl 80 rogue w/ 5.5k dps pre 3.1) and I could live with my account being canceled, I'd just do other stuff besides naxx 25 on thursday nights. Unless this kid is the hardcore of the hardcore raiders and had Yogg-Saron in heroic Ulduar down to 30% health at the time his account was canceled, hes not right in the head.

nibiyabisays...

Lots of people seem to really, really be offended that this might be fake. I, for one, think it's great regardless of whether it's real. Knee-jerk downvoting because you think it's fake is a little weird, but more power to you, I guess. You should all head over to the viral channel and downvote everything, then.

Xaielaosays...

Oh come on all you 'this is as bad as heroin' people. This is a spoiled brat of a teenager throwing himself around in a temper tantrum. He's probly been having them since he was 2.

It is NOTHING like cold turkey from heroin, not remotely. This was just a pissed off spoiled kid having a tantrum. The kid for sure has some kind of emotional addiction going on by to even suggest it's as bad as a drug addiction is asinine.
