Fletchsays..."Badass" and "Ben Affeck" should never be in the same sentence.
oohahhsays...He didn't write the interview. Then again, after watching it again, I realized that everything he said about being rich probably pertains to his current mode of existence. He is, after all, a successful actor. He's banked millions of dollars, year after year.
I bet this is the speech he's wanted to recite to the kids that beat on him in High School.
Ben's not my favorite actor, but this movie is well-written, and the few cameos Mr. Affleck makes are strategically placed and effective in advancing the plot and character dev.
swinginpagansays...I think he was perfect for this movie, though. The whole thing is such a cartoon of wealthy young white men, and then every once in a while, who swaggers onscreen, staggering under the weight of his own testosterone?
Ben F-ing Affleck.
He's here to tell 'em what it's all about!
Awwwww yeahhhhh!
Makes me giggle *every* time.
LadyBugsays...mmmmmm ben! *big cheeky smile*
theo47says...This is a poor man's version of Alec Baldwin's speech from "Glengarry Glen Ross":

I like Affleck a little more after the job he did in "Hollywoodland", but this ain't exactly Shakespeare he's doing here.
Goofball_Jonessays...Yes, this is a total rip-off from Glengarry Glen Ross. And it's not even a good rip-off either. Though, to be fair it's not really Ben's fault, he was just doing his job.
dooglesays...This is from a crap movie purporting to be about Stock Trading when it's really about tele-marketing - conning people out of money on the phone.
*lame.
bareboards2says...*length=4:13
siftbotsays...The duration of this video has been updated from unknown to 4:13 - length declared by bareboards2.
