The shocking shooting scene from episode 2 of BBCs new series the bodyguard.
The opening from episode 1 with the train bomber here:

Bodyguard is a British television drama series, created and written by Jed Mercurio and produced by World Productions for the BBC. The six-part series stars Richard Madden and Keeley Hawes.[1] ITV Studios Global Entertainment handle international distribution for the series.[2] The series began broadcasting on BBC One on 26 August 2018,[3] achieving the highest viewing figures for a new BBC drama in the multichannel era.[4]
The series is set around the fictional character of Police Sergeant David Budd, a heroic but volatile war veteran now working as a specialist protection officer for the Royalty and Specialist Protection Branch of London's Metropolitan Police Service. He is assigned to protect the ambitious Home Secretary Julia Montague, whose politics stand for everything he despises.
The series is fantastic.
Warning for blood and carnage.

CrushBugsays...I am all in on this show. Very good.
cloudballoonsays...So am I and my wife. Love British drama, crime & mystery shows. They're far more plot-drive and less needlessly dramatic (i.e. more realistic to me at least) than the majority of Hollywood fairs.
The completed Broadchurch (UK ver.) series was excellent too. The US version was laughable in contrast, even if they hired the SAME lead.

CrushBugsays...Wife and I loved Broadchurch.
There... there was... a US Broadchurch? That is wrong.

ChaosEnginesays...Is this on any streaming service outside the UK? Or is it watchable by “other” means?
siftbotsays...Bodyguard: Trailer - BBC has been added as a related post - related requested by ant on that post.
WmGnsays...Can anyone who knows close protection comment on Budd's leaving his VIP to go after the one sniper he's seen, on the basis of a quick glimpse with his mobile phone?
I would have thought that his overriding priority would be to fully extract his VIP from the danger zone.
cloudballoonsays...I use a VPN connection to download & watch all BBC shows through the BBC iPlayer (https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer) app. It got HD & close caption for all shows but each episode is time limited. The Bodyguard is available for 6 months from broadcast day, the recently finished Versailles gave me about 2 weeks to watch, so I guess each show varies).

Jinxsays...To be fair he did leave her with somebody!
Seems pretty ridiculous to me. But this is TV! Possible wouldn't have been quite as dramatic if they'd just, you know, got her safe, cordoned of the building and waited for SCO19
