Average Guy Runs Against World Class Athletes

Rich Eisen does this once a year. The difference between him and professional athletes in a 40 yard dash is remarkable. I believe you could time Eisen with a sundial.

Not working for me either. I see it connects to plugins.longtailvideo.com so maybe it needs some plugin or something.

They laugh, but I think Rich Eisen in a suit could run the 40 faster than I could. I'd be surprised if I could run 40 yards at all, actually.

If they did this for every Olympic sport, I would be more inclined to watch the Olympics. Just a great indicator of the greatness you're seeing but not truly appreciating.

Jacoby Ford ran a 4.28, which ties him for 5th best 40 time since 1999, when electronic timing was instituted.

His personal best 100m time is 10.01. The current world record time is held by Usain Bolt at 9.58.>> ^Yogi:

Geesh, watching Ford blow Eisen away is unreal. You just don't expect humans to be that many standard deviations apart from each other. I never appreciated how fast running backs could move. Great sift!
