Anthony Davidson's Horrendous Crash at Le Mans

Perazzini's Ferrari turns into Davidson's Toyota at the 2012 24 hours of Le Mans, sending the Toyota into the air, and both cars into the tire wall. It appears that neither driver was seriously injured.

"It appears that neither driver was seriously injured."

Anthony tweeted last night:

"Well that was a big one! Lying in a French hospital with a broken back wasn't what I had in mind at this stage in the race..."

He was walking around so it's not as bad as it could be, but personally I'd count any injury described as a broken back to be pretty bad! Really hoping it turns out to be minor fractures and it won't affect his career, or life. Seconds earlier the other Toyota had just taken the lead from the Audis after a real nail-biting lap. The team never really had a chance to enjoy their lead.

Interestingly you can see the weight difference between the cars, the LM P1 hits the wall going faster, but look at the difference in the dent it leaves compared to the GT car.
