kymbosI've never seen a concussion and probably spinal injury celebrated with such enthusiasm.
Incredible hit though.
littledragon_79I'm not so sure about a "clean hit". From the side it appears that he does lower his head and plants it right into the guy's chest.
PaybackDick Butkis used to do that with one hand.
Sightextbook hit, perfect
TrancecoachMeanwhile in other news...
brycewi19That's nothing. I hear Bill Brasky can knock a man over by just showing him his junk.

Mi1lersays...I honestly belive that the pads in football are more dangerous than not having them at all. Just the way they use the helmet.
silvercordI've never understood the accolades and celebration that come from laying out a receiver who, while in the act of catching a ball or just having done so, is completely at the mercy of the defensive player unleashing a vicious hit. Where is the glory in that?
Bidoulerouxsays...This is not *sports, this is gratuitous *violence. There was absolutely no need to stop the receiver dead in his tracks like that. He was just inches away from the side lines. A tap on the shoulder would have made him go over. But I guess the rules say you must hit everything that moves since this is american "football".
siftbotInvocations (sports) cannot be called by Bidouleroux because Bidouleroux is not privileged - sorry.

But come on, this isn't touch football. This is the full contact kind and that's the way it is. The tackle was, within the context of the rules, perfectly fine as he stopped the forward movement of the ball and minimised the yardage gain.
I can see how some may find the sport distasteful but physical contact in sport isn't going away and as a result some people will always get hurt.
