eric3579says...I think they tried to teach us the metric system in fifth grade. Don't recall them trying all that hard. Pretty useless as i don't recall anything being metric in the 70's in America. The only thing i ever recall (sometimes) was engine sizes.

Construction plans are laid out in millimeters, but materials are sold in inches (thank you USA). So, we have to be bilingual in units as well, eh.

Jinxsays...Recently I was surprised to see a ruler that had centimetres on both edges.
I have no fucking idea what imperial weights are but more often than not I'll give my height in feet.
