Called "Celles et Ceux des Cimes et Cieux," or, "Girls and Guys from Treetops and Skies," this short was made by animation student Gwenn Germain after "5 months of intensive production alone in my cabin"! I think that from the reaction of studio Ghibli fans in Japan and everywhere, this guy wins the internet.

This project was a trailer for a 2D full length animation film, as part of his 5th year diploma at the French animation school Créapole ESDI.

Pitch: A young boy who lives in a village on a giant tree, fall in the depth of the forest where he meets two strange natives who will help him to go back home.
