Most of it probably. Some of it I think was incompetence. Firing with a jet just above you means their updraft will suck the missile towards them. That's physics, and nothing new. The pilots must have known at least that much.>> ^deathcow:

Not all of those were missiles, mind, at least one or two of them were the spare fuel tanks, which are often dropped once they are empty.
