EMPIREsays...that has to be one of THE most realistic CG effect ever. I can usually pick up on CG effects very easily, but this one could easily have had me fooled. I don't know if that's awesome or scary. Or both.
spoco2says...You would never guess anything had been done to that video unless you were told beforehand, and even then I can't see the signs of it being done.
Very impressive
mxxconsays...I don't know if this should be considered "FX" if it was done manually...
That would be impressive if this was automatic process.

That's a silly condition to require. Or do you think there's an AI somewhere that sneaks photon torpedoes, Na'vi, Tyrannosaurus Rex, patroni, and fireball spells into otherwise effect-free films?

Yes it's not so much cg as retouching like you would a photograph. What impresses me is that it is in real time. I'd imagine using a rather complex algorithm.

That's the thing, we don't know if this is in real time.

Ya, like all those movies before CGI that had no "FX" in them. Like Star Wars 4, Star Trek 1, and 2001 a Space Odyssey. Fuckin done-by-hand amatuers.
EvilDeathBeesays...I wish they'd use this technology on the latest series of Red Dwarf
Deanosays...Fascinating.
Imagine making your political candidate more attractive. Or more excitingly age actors more convincingly if you can reverse this process.
