8727says...consider giving a charity gift for christmas - http://www.ekklesia.co.uk/content/news_syndication/article_041217gifts.shtml
it's a great message, could lose the jesus babble though.
dystopianfuturetodaysays...Jesus was a commie who shouldn't be listened to. Go forth and max out your credit cards, faithful Christians. Forget about Christ's endless pontificating and focus on his suffering. Focus on the fear people. Compassion: bad. Fear: good. If you don't buy expensive presents for your family, they will hate you and you will go to hell.
choggiesays...Welcome nadabu!
Abductedsays...I was in church today (from school, don't hate) and I think this was basically what they said. Maybe a little less radical. Could have been some kids too.
Or then I dreamed this when I took that nap.
nadabusays...woohoo. my first sift is in.
Fadesays...Yes, resist capitalism and switch your brain off and become a hippy Christian because self delusion is so much better than consumerism. whatever, total downvote if I could.
nadabusays...Uh... it's resist *consumerism* (and it's twin, consumer debt). I like capitalism. Consumerism is turning your brain off and handing it over to the ad-man, letting him tell you how to live and spend your money. Use your brain, not your credit card.
9058says...I'm not Christian but I like the movement to revert christmas back to what it ideally was suppose to be and not the consumerism it has become
