Abbot Claims Prosecuting Rape Will Eradicate Rape In Texas

Texas Governor Greg Abbot explains why no exemptions for rape and incest are in the new anti choice laws in Texas by saying victims have 6 weeks to find out they're pregnant with a rape baby and get an appointment at one of the few clinics still operating (even if they're unconscious, hospitalised, incarcerated, get covid (which means a multi week wait), or held captive), so they aren't even impacted, and they're going to arrest and prosecute rapists, and that will definitely end rapes in Texas.
I suppose he's not aware that Texas has been prosecuting rapists since it became a nation, and later as a state. Somehow new rapists keep popping up, ruining the perfect plan.

He conveniently ignored the incest portion of the question because there are no plans to stop incest in Texas.
