Boise_Libsays...The mycelium contains psilocybin so the step of growing the fruiting bodies (mushrooms) can be skipped. Psilocybin is water soluble--so the mycelium can be soaked and the solutions filtered and dried.

PlayhousePalssays...While living on Kauai, we used to collect mushrooms from the cow pies and place them in a jar of honey. We'd eat a spoonful from what rose to the top. Personally, I never cared for a body high much.

Alas, only tried this once, but didn't complete the project... guess I liked phenylethylamines better than tryptamines anyway.
