Juan Carlos Fresnadillo directs the sequel to Danny Boyle's "28 Days Later." Danny Boyle is a producer. It is slated to be released on May 11, 2007.

I really liked the first movie despite its flaws. I thought it had a real social message to it so I'm interested to see how this one turns out.

The AMC I go to had a poster up when I went last night. I did a double take initially. It had some of the same icons as did the first movie.

Personally I thought the first film was excellent, I couldn't pick out many flaws. I'll be excited to see this one even though Danny Boyle isn't directing.
