1984 - WNEW TV 5 "Forty Years of Fine Tuning" - Special

A tribute to New York City's Channel 5. Back then before cable in upstate NY you only got 3 channels with the antenna and so you watched quite a bit of this channel. We still quote their local NYC commercials to this day, I miss those days.

I ran into Betty Furness (38:00) in Grand Central Station once, went to shake her hand and tell her I enjoyed her work. She grimaced and crushed my hand, obviously didn't want to be recognized.
