Oh em gee! Our team of 4 won an Infocom competition to be the first (overnight) crew out of maybe 10 teams, to beat their text adventure THGttG at a local space museum. Our library got an Apple IIc as first prize! <3

Who else played 'Oregon Trail' on one of these in elementary school?

I did.
But in my case, I think it was more like junior high.

PS I played THHGttG too... only later, when I was in high school and I had just experienced the amazing graphics of the N64... so therefore, I did not appreciate the text based format... and it was HARD!
