therealblankmansays...Starcraft was and is an amazingly fun game to play, but watching someone else play? I'd rather watch the proverbial paint dry. Unbelievably boring. Unless you have these guys calling the play-by-play, I suppose.

Nah, watching Starcraft games is pretty fun. It's really cool to see all the excitement that the koreans put to the game. The main problem though is that most of the games by the pros tend to be over very fast. Whoever can rush first without screwing up wins.

These pro gamers (especially the Starcraft ones) have an enormous fan base, and they usually have fan clubs for each of their own instead of being fans of the team they're in.
Surprisingly, most of the active fans you'd see on the benches are highschool girls, cheering for their player.
