What Mormon Theology Is Really All About [1975]
All religions are about blindly believing the things that are told about it.
Mormonism isn't any different from any other religion.
I have a personal religion based on my own experiences, and I think everyone should also take their own spiritual path. But it doesn't hurt to know what other religions are about, as they all seem to have a little piece of truth in them.
You know things are bad when Joe Scarborough is asking if Bush is an idiot...
What's exactly is misunderestimate? o_O
Bush is an idiot. There's not even a need to ask the question as it's so obvious.
It's not only that he's inarticulate like that guy said in the video, he's also made a lot of stupid mistakes.
Doing it in the kitchen (how not to - LOUD nsfw)
Hahaha, yes I did.
But to tell you the truth I didn't realize a lot of this the first time I saw it. I just felt something was off and that's when I went more into it to see what made me feel this wasn't real. The more I looked into it the more things I found, and I didn't even state 'em all lol.
Sam Harris lectures on the dangers of both religious fundamentalism and religious moderation
I think everyone should be free to believe what gives them peace of mind, a meaning to their life, or w/e without being imposed on them, as long as it doesn't affect directly or indirectly in a negative way the lives of others.
That would be the ideal world, but in reality people do impose their beliefs on others. They do so especially on their children because they strongly believe they are right, and want the "best" for them without giving them different options by telling them what other people believe without dismissing it as 100% false.
It's a vicious cycle.
Bush's embarrassing escape attempt
lmao
I laughed harder at the irony of his "God bless the Christians of China".
Would his God only bless the Christians? Would He only do it if He were asked to?
Doing it in the kitchen (how not to - LOUD nsfw)
It didn't look so real to me.
I always like to give the benefit of the doubt to this kind of videos, but this one didn't convince me.
Even if it's fake it's still a little funny, but if I knew (or at least thought) that it is 100% real I would've found it funnier.
Some things that didn't look natural to me:
-The way she slides the apparently empty frying pan to the next burner for no obvious reason other than that of the aftermath.
-Besides the frying pan being seemingly empty, there's no food nearby right next to the range on the counter closest to the burner being used to assume that she was about to cook something. If she had just finished cooking, why would she be just standing there, staring at the frying pan w/o doing anything in the beginning anyway?
-The initial dialogue doesn't sound sincere to me either(i.e "You are so bad, you know?" "Hello" *rolls eyes* )
-The camera is put down on an angle, which I think was to give it a feel of realism. I think they tried too hard because it would've made more sense to have it flat on the counter by removing any object that would tilt it like that. Maybe it was to have a better picture of the scene, but how would you know what angle to use unless you had tested it first?
-Most importantly would anyone really do this on a range? I know I like to clear a surface, preferably as even as possible to do this as an act of consideration for the other person's comfort, and a range is not an even surface. The end of the counter to the left of the range would've been my personal choice here.
But who knows, maybe there really are idiots like this.
Stupid Dog Attacking His Own Zombie Foot (41 secs)
Wow omg you're so right, now I can see how wrong I really was. You totally convinced me, specially by garnishing your comment with your very well thought out and grounded offensive remarks [sarcasm/]
You're hopeless, so I'm done discussing this. And just so you know it's already been proven that the dog really has AHS.
Stupid Dog Attacking His Own Zombie Foot (41 secs)
I'm really disturbed at your sick humor then, since even after knowing the reason behind the dog's behavior you still claim to find it to be "funny". Interesting as a video that shows such unusual illness? Yes, but not funny.
If you think this is funny after learning the truth then you have the mental maturity of an average 6 y/o boy. You would probably laugh at Michael J Fox for his Parkinson's disease making him wobble his head like that and not be able to fully control his muscles. You would probably also laugh at your granpa with Alzheimer's disease because he keeps forgetting stuff. I'm sure anyone can find countless of other rather reasonable comparisons.
What surprises me the most is that you kept the title of the video referring to the dog as "stupid". How is he stupid? Did he consciously choose to have such neural malfunction? Somehow I highly doubt it.
Did you even read the whole article on the Alien Hand Syndrome at all?
Grow up.

Even if you feel "happy" for them dying doing something they loved, what about the lives they took with them? (when it happens, of course)

Not so funny anymore, is it?

Ugh.... Why does everything have to be staged?
Got proof?
Didn't think so...
The Sony PSP Game Loading Time From Hell...
OMG!! People please stop using that overly annoying music! It's not funny, it never was and it will never be!
Ya I can mute the speakers, but that won't help the fact that someone actually thought it would be a good idea to use it.
Fantasy In D Minor Composed by Mozart - Played by 10 Year Old
Why assume that all talented kids are forced to practice?
If you really like something and want to get good at it nobody has to impose it on you.
And while you say this is more "worthwhile" than DDR, this game (and the sort like: Beatmania, DJMAX, O2Jam, etc) exercises your rythm, coordination, reflexes, concentration and flexibility similar to piano, and kids aren't forced to play them (quite the opposite sometimes) because they are fun!
