It is timeshift because outside of the laser popping the balloons we can see that there are sections of the video that are sped up.

Just imagine if you were to witness this a thousand years ago or so. You'd be inclined to think that witchcraft was afoot or else the gods were angry. Very impressive.

That one flare is 30 earths long? Daaaayum!
