And maybe when you climb ladders, you can climb them at your own pace, maybe even stop in the middle of them IN FIRST PERSON instead of waiting for some shitty animation to end all the while some guy maybe shoots you in the back when you're helpless. And hey, when I punch a guy in the head to knock him out, maybe I can punch him myself IN FIRST PERSON.

One is a 150 million dollar flying turd, and the other is a 120 million dollar flying turd. Also, all that stealth technology sure will come in handy fighting third world guerrilla armies who don't even know what the hell is a radar.

And even if they weren't a giant waste of money already, drone aircraft will soon dominate the skies. They are cheaper and, not needing a meatbag inside, means they can also be much faster and meaner.

The closest current species is Heteropoda venatoria from the Gulf states of USA. There are no major differences as far as I can tell - same number of eyes, same number of tarsal claws (2), and the genitalia (this is a male) seems similar, though only the dorsal view is shown - the ventral side is needed for a definitive ID.
Spiders do change a good bit, but 49 million years isn't an enormous amount of time given that they've been around for about 400 million years. They largely developed into creatures similar to today's spiders far before 49 mya.
