Mow The Lawn - UK Wilkinson Sword Commercial

keitholbermann says...

We have not learned anything from our insatiable consumerism which lead us to our current unsustainable capitalist crisis. We still feel a need to praise clever and risque viral commercials that lure us further down that rabbit hole. I suppose none of us will be happy until we're working 120 hours a week to earn enough to purchase a loaf of bread, a gallon of water and a lady razor.

Compact Florescent Bulbs are Bad for You?

keitholbermann says...

We should work together to make fluorescent and incandescent bulbs illegal. There's no reason people cannot pay a bit more for the greener LED light bulbs. And they last much longer, so that means less waste in our landfills.

G20 is Bad Medicine For Big Wounds

G20 is Bad Medicine For Big Wounds

keitholbermann says...

The entire world needs to have their economic systems reshaped and restructured. He asks who should rule the global economy, and he makes a fantastic point. Currently, Obama is the best man for that job, I believe, but we should subject it to the global democratic process. I could see us voting with a world ballot containing a two-nation system with Obama and maybe Gordon Brown.

I'm on the railroad tracks of somewhere I don't want to be.

keitholbermann says...

If every auto manufacturer was forced to equip their cars with a gps system, then every car could then be in a nation wide government database. It would be possible then for the 911 operator to dispatch emergency units to safely remove the car from the tracks, give the man medical attention, imprison him for endangering others, and signal to the oncoming train to slow or stop.

Kucinich Furious About Merrill Lynch 3.7 Billion Bonuses

keitholbermann says...

I fear Kucinich may be going down the same road Lieberman went down when Lieberman became a neocon. I agree the bonuses are a terrible waste, and I'm sure our current Administration won't let that stand, but this kind of fear-mongering leads to public dissonance.

We need unity and agreement in our economic crisis. We need to put our differences aside and give our leader the unrestrictive, indubitable support necessary to do what's best for us.

Glenn Beck: I'm Wrong - It's Not Socialism...It's Much Worse

"War on Terror" question at French Town Hall - 4/03/09

keitholbermann says...

What an outstanding, decisive leader. He understands that it takes an entire globe to root out the terrorist threats in the world. We must change our tone towards Muslims, while also leading the world against those of them with a twisted ideology. We must encourage diplomacy while also adding a military component to the effort.

We must conduct ourselves so the rest of the world wants to join in, and we should not let them have an excuse not to. This is the voice of the new world. This is the voice of hope.

Rachel Re: Why Guantanamo Accountability Matters

keitholbermann says...

The Bush Administration and the Republican Party have single-handedly made us hated across the globe with their needless wars, bloodshed, coups and disregard for the Geneva Convention. Anti-war, pro-labor and respect for the world we live in is the mantra of the Democrat Party, and the Republicans could take a cue from some of our presidents: LBJ, JFK, Truman, FDR and Woodrow Wilson.

Rachel Maddow Show 3/31/09 - Neocons Return

keitholbermann says...

The white man has been oppressing the entire world for so long, solvent. Furthermore, I don't see any harm in calling a neocon a white idiot, because that is what most of them are.

Americans Not as Stupid as Media Thinks

keitholbermann says...

QM must be a closeted bigot who is angered by Obama's skin color. Or maybe he's opposed to someone with such eloquence and poise? Obama is nothing short of a polymath who will best to lead this world once again to prosperity, better conditions for the working class, and a world we can all feel safe in.

Americans Not as Stupid as Media Thinks

keitholbermann says...

The IMF is key to the revitalization of our economy. Thankfully our world leaders came to a consensus at the G-20 and have wisely agreed to triple the loans available to the IMF. This will ensure expansive deficit spending leading to a stable world economy.

Any country who resists this economic help is being foolish and should expect punitive reprisal from our world leaders.

Colin Powell doesn't like the GOP's alternative budget

keitholbermann says...

Larger tax breaks for the upper crust. This is exactly why the 'Grand Old Parody' needs to go away. Haven't we evolved enough politically to realize a smaller government means more oppression from the rich land owners who make their money from the exploitations of the social working class?

The working class are incapable of living without the protection of government regimentation. Even collectively they are too weak and impotent to do for themselves in opposition to those who own the land and control the means of production, and can only exist by nationalizing (achieved by expanding the scope and reach of government) the means of production and land ownership.

Ron Paul - Audit the Fed!

keitholbermann says...

You call me a puppet, but I haven't had a sip of that Ron Paul koolaid yet, it must be intoxicating stuff. Ron Paul is part of the party that created this terrible economic mess for us, therefore he is responsible no matter how remote. Just because he's popular with the wingbat anarchists doesn't mean he's right or that he knows what he's talking about.

I believe Obama will lead our country to becoming the beacon of freedom and greatness around the world. I believe he will lead us to once again lead others. Auditing the Federal Reserve won't help us to a position of absolute leadership.

Rush Limbaugh Talks About - "Anal Poisoning"

keitholbermann says...

I tend to agree, stukafox. I fear the right wing may do something irrational and dangerous, and that's mostly the reason I'm glad we have a smart absolute central leader with a decisive magisterial voice of democracy and greatness in this country.
