A Ninja Training

Right now there are a hundred star wars kid vs nerdy ninja dude mashups in production. Followed by the dramatic prairie dog. I can hear the lightsabers swooshing now! Cue the lawyers and therapists!

Close Call With a Lion - Impressive video

Hunting? Its not hunting. These dumb rednecks are led out into the bush and shoot something the size of a small barn then brag about it back home like they are warriors of the serengeti or something. Go out there alone with a knife if you want to 'hunt'. The only skill involved is not crapping thier pants. (Which it looked like a few did when they hears the first raw.) When there are none of these amazing animals left in the world maybe they might shoot at each other and do us all a favour.

Australian Party Boy Part 2

Its depressing that such a brainless prat could become a folk hero out of this. Such a total disregard for the property or privacy of his neighbours and waste of tax payer resources in police manpower and vandalised vehicles. Now he may be rewarded for it? Ive never seen a better candidate for a galactic ass kicking...

BUSTED: The Citizen's Guide to Surviving Police Encounters

dproc says...

The last time i saw a cop act like that was in a Burt Reynolds movie. These "know your rights" things are all well and good but they are really just a guide on how to annoy police and not get out of being caught for doing something wrong. If your not doing anything wrong then co-operate and be on your way. Thier just doing thier job too. The moment you say you refuse to being searched you might as well say "sure ive got illegal stuff in the car but im going to be an ass about it till you search me anyway". Can you imagine ANY police officer saying "oh, you dont allow it? My apologies sir.. please be on your way." pfft. My advice, if you dont like the laws, write to a politician. The police dont make'em up.

The Bugs Bunny Road Runner Show Theme

.and the award for realistic gunplay in a motion picture....

There is a mythbusters episode just about the "lifted off the ground by a shotgun myth" and it IS a myth. (episode 38 - they revisit it) I speak from military experience with weapons too. The bear may have jumped by its own reflexes, but it was not by the effect of the slug. Obscenesimian's physics statement was correct. Equal and oposite reaction. If it lifted a person being shot, it would lift the shooter too. The mythbusters episode clearly demonstrates this if there is any doubt. They even use a .50 cal and it doesnt do anything. Penetration and destructive power is another thing (devastating). But it doesnt lift anything. FACT. A really good clip though, I agree, and much more realistic then most hollywood efforts. This isnt meant as a flame to any other posters either, please dont think im attacking any comments. Just pointing this out. (This myth bugs me.)

Australian Newscaster asks Americans Which Country to Invade Next (language NSFW)

dproc says...

(As an Australian living in North America) I dont think it was hard to find people who couldnt tell Australia from Iran. After a short conversation the other day, an American asked me where I was from and I told him Australia. He said "oh? do they speak english in Australia?" I was tempted to say to him "no, I leant it on the plane on the way over" but just nodded.
Im teasing, but geography outside of America SOMETIMES isnt a strong point.
