Apparently there is a story about when someone tried to convert Ghandi to Christianity. He said something like. "But your savior can not save me from sin, he can only save me from the consequences of sin. Why would I want that? Without any consequences, men would surely choose to do evil as often as good."

You might find a better dance music composer. And you might find a better singer. And you might find a better dancer. But you will never find all three in a tighter and more talented package than MJ. I'm not even a big fan. But I know greatness when I see it in any genre. Stupendous!

It's so cool when you see how there is actually a complex genius behind something that sounds so simple with just casual listening. I've heard similar sound experiments where they isolate Ringo's drumming on Beatles hits. You very quickly figure out that there were four virtuoso musicians in that one band.

OK, so Mr. Laurie doesn't have it easy. But imagine how Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney must feel. Here you are a man in his late sixties, with grandchildren for Christ's sakes. And all anyone ever wants to talk to you about is something you did for six years when you were in your early twenties.

Imagine discussing YOUR early twenties for the rest of your life in excruciating detail. What a hellish existence. No wonder John and George were so reclusive.
