Thanks all! I'm glad to be part of the community. A few things:

1) I have never taken any pill with a name that ends in "agra." Never ever.

2) It aint just my avatar that's bald.

3) I have never taken a wiz on NetRunner's shoes, nor would I ever do such a thing.

4) "Manbaby" is my new favorite verb. You have all been warned.

5) Snake-eating spiders are indeed political. But they are not nearly so political as a Conservative-eating block of soy product. Yeah. Think about that for awhile.

6) Numbers 1 and 3 above are outright lies.

My first (failed) submission to the Sift is REBORN!

Lots of red-tailed hawks where I'm from in Oklahoma. For a while they were disappearing because the hunters would shoot them on sight (they didn't want to have to compete with them for rabbit, etc), but the state put a stop to it, and they are making a comeback.

Lovely birds.

No, it's not just Lanny Davis anymore. There are, for example, people like these.

But Lanny is still more hacktacular than just about anybody else in modern politics.
