Infinity Game Engine Demo
Not to say it doesnt look pretty - but what really differentiates this from any other game engine? Is it actually handling the rendering different to allow for space/planet transitions?
From what I see it is merely rendering the polygons presented, this doesn't seem to be something that couldn't be constructed in another engine with the appropriate coding for the atmosphere (ready smoke) effect. The planetary rendering wasn't super high quality and even the spacestation did not take my breath away to the level other first engine looks did. Beyond that, but there was a definite lack of physics being involved (which will take its toll on the engines performance).
And anyone who places a gas giant that close to a solid planet... The 7 year old may have been able to better build a planetary system and atmosphere!
Anyway, sorry for being a negative nancy!
Anonymous Press Release - February 10, 2008
MG et al - several good churches and their leaders are not about making a profit, however you have to look no further than the 'mega-churches' which sell the product of religion. Overall - no church should be free from taxation. If the church wants to fund non-profits which are not religiously affiliated that would be fine, but having religion automatically grant tax freedom is wrong.
Alicia Guastaferro, Beauty Queen From Hell
jeez. i've been trying to be more positive about humanity - then this puts me back about 2 months.
second thought - how are her parents going to react when their beauty queen fails and starts making pornos. 'We let our daughter experience what she wants, it makes her better. If she wants to have a 5 man gang-bang, well it will make her more rounded. Make her sparkle boys!!!!'
And back to crying about humanity.
Co-Pilot Cat can has soft landing?
I'd say bengal - very pretty cat. They are an interesting breed as well.
Japanese Girl Snaps Metal Fork With Ass Cheeks
Talk about a pair of unsexy butts. =(
Mongeese Transform!
looked like a giant grass slug coming at the lion...
Kinetic sculpture - 'Cloud', by Troika
Looks really cool....until the flippers start to break randomly across the surface, but the airport authority wont take it down until a sufficient number of them have broken to warrant a crane. Then it will just look tacky for a good while until they make that choice.
Looks cool now though.
The Al Qaeda Report
err...take that back. thanks liveleak for making me foolish!
Liar, weasel, criminal.. That's the top US Justice official
So very pedantic - 'on behalf of the president', 'serve at the pleasure of the president'.
How can anyone have any respect for this man?
Rally Car Accidents Montage
So many oh shiiii moments. The car cams were interesting to watch.
Music was by Scooter - remix of the Logical Song (Supertramp).
100,000 Paper Caps Explosion
Interesting. Music was heinous though. At least stop it during the booms.
Interactive Video Cutout
Man, that was awesome. When they started rotating the cube, I immediately thought of space/time relativity who-ha. Made my head hurt. Amazing application of transdimensional mapping.
Windows Vista did not steal ideas from Mac OS X!
Man, this guy is not a pleasant thing to listen to. Nor is the music. Someone drop some down votes on this... (although he has valid points, Vista isn't original and shouldn't be advertised as if it were...)
How Pregnancy Happens
I don't know about you guys, but we got this several times in school. 5th grade, 8th, and 10th I believe. The 5th grade one was more along the lines of, this is a penis, thats not. 8th grade was a bit more explanatory, and 10th was cautionary/reactive (since there were people already pregnant in the school). This was along with related discussions in biology classes, which were along the lines of this video - actual biological response and such not. I don't know what the effect of these talks were however. Sure it is the simple, those who listened know now thing and a booster shot through videos like this cant hurt.
Quick Science Sift #8:rapid vaporization of cryogenic liquid
