I think you are right, Chaucer. That was my take, too. It looks like all the glass is to one side of the TV.

Actually, my buddies and I DO shoot competitively. We also use targets that fall back, when hit. The splatter is not dangerous, it is not a richochet. And, splatter, as it is, is an exceedingly rare occurance. Out of THOUSANDS of rounds... splatter almost never happens. These same style of targets are used at other IPSC matches in the area.

Rifter, I don't want to be mean, but please reconsider your course of action. Softer bullets and lower power make shooting steel MORE dangerous, not less. You should also not have received splatter or ricochet more times than you can count on one hand, because that means your target is either poor quality/damaged, your target is set up improperly, or you're standing too close, or some combination of the three.

And besides, why the need to shoot steel, especially at close range, when you're not competing? I never understood the appeal.

They need to release it on the DS, as well.

My buddies and I shoot steel all the time. We shoot close range with pistols, and get some splatter bouncing back on us. For a little .223 round, we put those out at 100 yards, to be safe. We also use soft bullets so they expend their energy on the target, and won't bounce back too far.

As soon as the cat started growling, I started cringing. I knew something BAD was going to happen. That is actually a pretty good cat. It was VERY unhappy, and could have really messed her up, if it was a really bad cat. She was not holding it well, and all the people and lights most likely frightened it.

We did this in my dorm. :-) We were having a water fight, in about november. We filled up the garbage can, and dumped it out our window, which was right over the door of the group below us. :-)

Most small cameras do not hold up well with RC aircraft. There is more interference from the motor and electronics, not to mention the antannea itself. This guy, it looked like, had special equipment.

It's not the first time for it to happen. Going from Zero G, where the blood evenly distributes through the body, to 1 G, where it pools in the legs has some side-effects.
