Lots of mixed emotions about this...
We went from one superhero and one villain and a fairly simple story in the first movie to three - maybe four - superheroes and at least two supervillains in the second.
Seems like they are trying to jam a LOT into this movie and it could collapse under the weight of it all.

As someone who said good-bye to his own 15-year-old friend recently, I can relate to the situation. However, I'm too aware of this film as a PRODUCTION... the lighting, the staging, etc... so it doesn't move me.

I lived adjacent to Regent's Park in London. The squirrels over there practically demanded food from you... they would tug on your pant leg to get your attention. We would have two or three of them at a time climbing us to get to the peanuts we had for them.

Man did I LOL at this... It was like a piece of absurd mime theatre.

His manner of speaking is getting progressively stranger... might be a related issue. He talks now in a semi-incoherent rasp... like his True Grit character has now become his permanent persona.

Saw this elsewhere recently... actually couldn't finish watching it I was so clenched. I read that it ends really badly.
