as an outsider i think the only important issue here is whether the viewers of that network understand how totally biased it is towards the darker aspects of human nature. Is this the case?

Quentin Tarantino OWNS Movie Reviewer on Live TV

How does a moron like that (a) get to review movies and (b) get her grinning, insincere, egotistical little face on TV in the first place? I thought Johnathan Ross was bad, but at least he has a sense of humour and some genuine respect for the artists he interviews.

No idea what channel that was, but they should be ashamed.

IMO the people who only found the end bit funny shouldn't bother watching this show, the humour's gonna be WAY too subtle and complex for you - for everyone else it's simply cutting edge TV and essential viewing (like 'The Office'); the bonus stuff on the series 1 DVD is a damn good larf too - havent had time to watch the series 2 bits but really looking forward to them

fascinating historical find -- I heard many nations ordered their athletes to perform the salute as part of 'appeasement'... nice to see the Brits and US avoiding it though, however an astonishing photograph does exist of the England football team performing the salute prior to a match at the same olympics. Ironic given Britain's declaration of war just three years later.

It seems that the policy in the US military is 'if in doubt, shoot'. In every other professional, 1st world army it is the opposite. Why is this? Why do US pilots possess so few inhibitions about dropping their ordnance? If you listen to their cockpit radio chatter from Gulf War 1 all you hear is primitive whooping and cheering as they watch their bombs killing complete strangers. The RAF chatter by contrast is completely subdued and professional. Why is this? Is it just piss-poor training? Does the US military simply recruit the wrong kinds of people? Can any Americans enlighten me?

Gestapo? History lesson needed I think.

I'm not venting about people's right to disagree in these forums. I just fail to understand what the poster hopes to achieve by stating publicly that he/she does not like a certain band, when other people obviously do (or they wouldn't be successful). Criticism is surely useless unless it is constructive.
