Atheist Ministers Struggle With Leading the Faithful
Uh... Wrong video?
Rick Perry on The Daily Show part 3
Is it just me, or does it seem like not only are the interviews getting longer (albeit they don't always air the whole thing on TV) and that they're taking a much more serious conversational tone. This is the third in a row, I think, that have been with personalities that John not only doesn't agree with but is generally entirely on the other side of the isle.
If they are becoming more serious with what power they do have, I hope they keep doing these kinds of interviews.
Largest Urban Bat Population in the World Takes Flight
Sweet sift! I just went to Austin for the annual ACA Bat Cruise that the organization holds on that exact river boat. It's pretty crazy seeing that many bats flying over head.
A word to the wise though, if you're on a boat like that when the bats come out, make sure you have an umbrella with you otherwise you'll end up with bat poop in your hair like I did. Effing gross!
Science saved my Soul.
Man, this one really got me. Facebooking the shit out of this too! This had better make it to the top. Talk about powerful.

Anti-Gay School Board Member to Resigns on Live TV
I think he's just trying to get down to whether or not he's actually sincere in his "change". As Cooper said, "If you're just saying this because you got caught". He seems sincere though, which I'm thankful for if it's true.
Screaming Woman In A WRC Rally Car

She's screaming because that car is basically a roller coaster that's not on a track.
I don't buy it, there is almost zero shuddering in the camera, they aren't bouncing in the cockpit at all, no evidence of powerslides (heads slapping back and forth)...
I'd say they are on a flat track and she's just skitzing out.
It looks like it's the acceleration that's getting to her, she's relatively calm in the corners, and only squeals a bit in on decel. I'm sure that the amount of noise from the car being gutted is probably unnerving her too. Most people just aren't used to their senses being assaulted in any way, seemingly especially her because it definitely doesn't look like he was doing anything crazy
I wonder how she'd react if she was in Ken Blocks car

Stephen Fry on free, open-source software
I love Stephen Fry! I find it funny though, that while he went through that whole explanation, he had a Mac next to him, with the least open OS ever!
When Did You Choose To Be Straight?
I really like that last interview. You could almost see her mind turning around from believing it's a choice to believing that maybe it's not always a choice.
It's funny what happens when you put yourself in someone elses shoes or ask the same question about yourself that you're asking about other people.

Bioshock Infinite - First Official Trailer
This whole "games can't be art" thing is silly. From Wikipedia:
"Art is the product or process of deliberately arranging symbolic elements in a way that influences and affects the senses, emotions, and/or intellect."
Simple, all games can be considered art. Maybe not high art all the time but art none-the-less. I suppose we'd have to know how Ebert defines art and then punch him in the nose for being an idiot.
