QLIMAX - The Most Insane Rave Party Ever.
Yikes, 11 minutes of eardrum-splitting 30" woofers blasting out that bass.... ouch! I went through a few years of a drum-n-bass phase, but got such massive headaches I had to stop.
If you like Trance that's a bit more relaxing than this, I highly recommend Paul Oakenfold's GU007 album. I make sure to listen to the first disc at least once a month!

Super Slo-Mo Powers, Activate!
Multi Touch Technology 2
Woo, we're one step closer to Spielberg's (and Philip K. Dick's) vision of the interface seen in Minority Report. I can't imagine the CPU power behind that set of screens though. Perhaps an array of iPhones are behind the scenes?
Fishbowl Flying: Kids in a Wind Tunnel
Wow that looks like crazy fun! Big upvote for the music too!
Saving Private Ryan: D-Day
Wonderful movie, Spielberg grandeur, and Hanks at the helm. I can't think of a reason not to see it again!
Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Bentar 1980 (Live)
My first 45 was, I think, the Bee Gees and Stayin' Alive. Go go Benatar!
Mystery! (opening titles animated by Edward Gorey)
Ahhhhh, Mystery Theater on PBS. As a wee tot, me mum would call me to her side whenever the show started, just so I could watch the opening sequence then run back to finish my homework.
Horowitz plays a short, simple, beautiful piece by Liszt
Positively delightful presentation!

Death Note AKA Next Japan film remade poorly in Hollywood
The live action films were done quite well, with excellent CG work covering the Shinigami. But the Anime series has been nothing but top-notch! So far, 14 episodes of the OAV have been released in Japan, airing around midnight each Wednesday (or is it Thursday? Confounded date line), with very faithful fansub groups quickly releasing subtitled versions shortly thereafter.
The catch? Viz has purchased the rights to eventually release the Death Note OAV series in the U.S., which means you'll have to resort to "other methods" to get those fansubs. While I don't exactly condone getting the series for free via this method, I highly recommend at least watching the first episode to see what all the hype is about! (And then go out and buy the series on DVD to indirectly support the production company!)

I hate when I'm all geared up to sniff some powder off my toilet seat, and it does that! UGH!
Making a cat from glass - Incredible
It's amazing how easily an artisan can form the image of a cat out of a shapeless blob of material, especially that quickly and effortlessly! It wouldn't surprise me if the man was at least a Journeyman in his craft.
