Don't confuse the guest with the network that is interviewing him. Cente is talking about economic policies... it's Fox that is placing the blame on Obama, ignoring the fact that Celente criticizes Bush for doing the same thing.

The issue that he is talking about is the crash of the dollar. If China and others decide to sell of their dollar assets then there isn't a damn thing the US can do to keep the dollar from dropping like a rock.

The problem is that our excessive spending is making that even more likely. The stimulus and bank bailouts could work perfectly, but if it scares our large investors away from our currency then it won't matter. If the dollar does collapse then you will likely see the things he is predicting. Printing money to pay the bills is not sustainable.

This guy isn't saying "republicans are right" or democrats are evil", he's saying that specific economic policies are very dangerous and should be avoided. Celente's predictions may be avoided, but he isn't someone who goes around blindly criticizing Obama just for the sake of partisanship (or if he does, it isn't in this video).

If he is not blaming Obama, why does he refer to his predictions as "Obamageddon" ?

I don’t know where conservatives get their crystal ball, but I hope they kept the receipt. Lets take a look at their track record:

*Prediction: The Iraq war will be over in six months
*Prediction: Our troops will be welcomed as heros, candy and flowers will rain down on them
*Prediction: The oil revenues will pay for the Iraq war.
*Prediction: Overthrowing Sadam will cause a domino effect of stability breaking out in the Mid East
*Prediction: WMD will be found in Iraq
*Prediction: A connection between Sadam and 9-11 will be proven.
*Prediction: The autopsy will prove Terry Schivio had a fully functioning brain
*Prediction: It will be proven that Mark Foley/Larry Craig were set up by dastardly liberal operatives.

Basically, these tools couldn’t predict six o’clock at five-thirty. Additionally, this Gerald Celente has been making the same predictions for the last 20 years. It’s almost as if he wants these things to happen.

They didn’t seem to get the facial features right, but it is really remarkable how the body and hand movements seem so life like and natural. They really have come a long way with the technology.

July 4th Tea Party - Oregon

These people complain about high taxes, yet unless they are all making over a quarter a million dollars a year, they are enjoying the largest tax cut ever. They cry that their rights are being taken away, yet not one of them can name any rights they have lost in the last six months. They whine about the deficit, yet were silent when George Bush took a surplus and turned it into the biggest deficit ever. Lets face it, all these people are are sore losers. They lost the election BIG TIME, and now all they can do is whine and cry and play the victim. Fortunately, the majority of Americans see right through them and want nothing to do with these red-neck malcontents.

PBS: Anti-Abortion Attacks as Domestic Terrorism

There is little question that Scott Roeder is mentally ill, however to say he acted alone and had no substantial connection with anti-choice groups is questionable. This is a man who had a spotty employment record (he had four jobs in the last six months) and virtually no assets other than a 16-year-old car. Yet he managed in the last month to make several 400-mile round trips to Wichita from the KC area. An affidavit signed by Roeder states he made $1100 a month, but nearly half of what he earned went right back out in rent and monthly bills. Where did this man get the money needed to finance these trips, money for gas, money for meals, money for lodging, money for a gun?

'Fire Dave Letterman' Rally Draws Tens of People

Citrohan says...

The Lunatic Fringe has had an ax to grind regarding Letterman ever since he caught McCain lying about having to cancel his appearance on Dave's show. But because they cant come right out and say that, they are using this an excuse.

Thank you for responding.

1 – You are correct that Perez Hilton does not speak for all gay people. If he made such a claim he is certainly mistaken.

2 – The term "gay agenda" was created by rightwing theocrats as a way to whip up fear (and solicited donations) in their followers. There is no "gay agenda," aside from the desire to be treated equally under the law, which when put that way sounds more like an "American agenda." If you want to know what gay people really want, I’d suggest you talk to an actual gay person and have a grain of salt handy anytime you hear a talking head or snake oil salesman speak.

3 – Saying "two men together or two women together is "equal" to heterosexual couples" is FAR different from your original statement that "men and women are "interchangeable," and there are no significant differences between the sexes."
