More and more drug prohibition seems to be more trouble than its worth. We ought to be more interested in education and treating addiction rather than having laws that help create situations like this.

I don't understand why marriage is any of the government's business in the first place. Seems pretty clear to me that the majority of people consider it a religious thing. Being non religious and married I have to disagree with your assertion that marriage is a "religious thing" It means different things to different couples depending on the culture they belong to and their world views.

Marriage has a set of legal rights attatched to it. It's not the place of a secular government to deny these rights to certain adults based on the practices of a religion.

Considering all the Jesus signs, giant crosses, door to door missionaries, pamphlets, guys handing out the new testament at bus stops/ in front of public schools, bibles in hotel rooms, scare tactics most of us put up with as children, and pressure many of us face from family memebers(especially during the holidays) a sign on a bus pales in comparison.

Those guys are douche bags, and they have their numbers wrong. Last time I checked in the US, 75% is christian, 10% of the remaining is non religious.
