Hey Dag. I really think you guys run a phenomenal site here. I love to visit, and so I'm happy to pony up a few bucks to help out.

But for the love of pete, please kill that survey thing that slides out (I first noticed it today). There is no obvious way to dismiss it and so it fills me with rage.

This is the part where I come to you hat in hand. VideoSift needs your help to get through the next few months financially. We've always relied on advertising to pay the server bills - but you may have read that the bottom has dropped out of the advertising market. We're no longer breaking even from our ad revenue and there's a risk that we may go into serious debt.

I think this is too well produced to have been made by someone who honestly calls it "the atheism" and say it "starts in your brain, works its way to your heart, then goes back to your brain, then works its way into your mind, that's when you really know you've got the atheism".

I don't believe that someone so silly could make this video. So yeah, parody.

The behavior of this nanny might not be ok in the eyes of the mother, but it doesn't not seem to me to be dangerous. I am a first time dad with a 4-week old boy, and I don't think this is in any way "shocking".

If it is shocking to you, then maybe your child is too bubble-wrapped.
