Wildly inaccurate dupe message on attempted submit
WTF Sifty?
I'm trying to sift this: http://www.cracked.com/video_18174_changing-world-harder-than-it-looks-feat.-aisha-tyler.html
and when I try to, it tells me it's a dupe of http://videosift.com/video/How-I-Learned-to-Stop-Worrying-and-Love-the-Loudness-War
WTF? They're not even from the same darn host.
Sifty, you sadden me

Wow, that is bizarre. The bad news is I didn't spend enough time investigating this to offer anything helpful. The good news is the video seems boring anyways so I'm sure none of us will miss it. The tongue face means I kid.
@blankfist... you're all heart man... all heart
SAME PROBLEM HERE!
Submitting http://www.dorkly.com/video/8558/dorkly-bits-mortal-kombat-friendship's embedded code thinks it is a duplicate of http://videosift.com/video/4-year-old-calls-911-for-math-help ... This needs to be fixed!

http://www.cracked.com/video_18233_supermans-dark-secret-unaired-episode-super-friends.html as well! VS thinks it is a dupe of http://videosift.com/video/Women-Being-Objectified ...
These types of dupes are not a result of siftbot searching by textual content but by finding what looks like an identical unique ID in the two embed codes. It's a bit tricky to feed siftbot a smart enough algorithm to support all video hosts, but when these types of issues arise just let us know so we can address them. Rest assured that these types of quirks are expected, but need to be addressed on an as-discovered basis.
Expect that these specific types of false dupes shall be resolved before long.

Thank you for the update, Lucky760.
All of the causes for the above false positives have been corrected.
