Why can't I watch Youtube videos in fullscreen?
What's the deal with that? Am I the only one? Is this a Sarzy problem, or a Videosift problem?

Hmmm. Full screen seems to be a okay for me. Using Opera with xp in both old sift format and newer format.
Works fine on Chrome on win7 too.
Weird. Actually, now that I'm looking out for it, I'm noticing that it's only an issue with some videos. For instance, this one lets me full screen just fine:

But this one doesn't:

Both work in fullscreen for me. Have you tried hitting F after starting playback? It's the keyboard shortcut for fullscreen.

Huh. No, that doesn't work -- the full screen icon at the bottom left hand corner of the video is grayed out, and when I click on it, a "full screen is unavailable" message pops up. That's so weird that it's only happening for me. Maybe it's a region thing...?

I had the same thing happen to me not too long ago, but I realized I had rolled back to an old version of VS somehow (I did it on purpose at one point for some reason, but never rolled back forward). I can't recall the command to roll VS back or forward though, or how to tell which it is using.

I just got a new puter today and am having the exact same problem. Any ideas anyone? Windows 10 w/chrome
I see it works with the sift newer version but not with the older version i prefer. Must be an issue with the sift.
