What do you like about Sift Five?

Dag and lucky are champs to work so hard on Sift5 and then stand there while we grouse and complain.

I would like to carve out this little space where we only talk about what we like about Sift5. So Dag and Lucky can bask a bit.

They deserve to bask for all that they have given us, yeah?

Shows why I lurked for so long.... I'm crap at figuring out How Things Work. Dang.

Okay. Here's another one....

The ability to gift power points. I love that.

This is a thoughtful idea for a post. Nice job, bb2.

But, tag links? They've always been that way.

Mambo #5 for Siftbot.

OK OK. I do like the new video submission flow. It will immediately tells me that my submission queue is full instead having to copy and paste a video embed code first.

I like the improved comment quoting, the *related= command, and gifted powerpoints.

First time I saw it, I was blown away by the vs5 mobile version of the site which is more functional and better looking than ever before.

Excellent post, bareboards2!

I like the cleaner look. I don't know the first thing about writing HTML, CSS or website design, but I imagine it's just like writing. You come up with an initial idea, then revise it and re-write it, polish it, test it. Ad nauseam. And then being able to fit that around the idea of VS, and the existing features it's already established. That can't be easy.

I also like the fact that Dag and Lucky incorporate ideas from the community into their design decisions, although that's been going on since the beginning and not just with 5. Very Democratic of them. I really can't think of another website on the 'Net that does this.

The commenting does feel very solid and fast now and before we start to take it for granted it should be celebrated.

I actually like the way the site renders on my phone now, very nice.
