I'm like a flippin rabid badger when it comes to keeping things clean choggie. I have videos that have no replacements on any video site. I don't see why I can't get rid of them. Especially if I can't even fix the URL. I don't mind keeping a graveyard but dang it, let me raise a few zombies every now and then.

I like the idea for deleting dupes/snuff/porn. It's just a waste of bandwidth and server storage to keep'em around.

as much as i agree with deleting dupes/snuff/porn i think resurrecting the hidden gems is worth keeping em around , i mean how many people can even find the discard pile ? as for rabid badgers , someone needs to put the scene from the movie the salton sea up !

My point is you can't edit ANYTHING that has been discarded. No one's going to resurrect a video that has no way of fixing the embed code.

Well you're right, you can't alter the embed code on a discarded post, but when I found a replacement for this vid I still asked Rembar to save it. Then I changed it later.

Just call in a favor from a fellow sifter and ask them to make sure they point out that you're going to swap the embeds later, that way people don't dead them again.

But I see you're point that it gets aggravating that you can't resurrect these videos yourself.
