Maybe it's been done, maybe not. Either way it's gotta exist. As time 'til the new year wanes, and we give 2007 a big kiss goodbye and welcome a year that will be, no doubt, a year full of controversy, dispute, and tears, we could use a bit of reflection. I propose to the powers of the sift numbers (if this is possible anyway) an award ceremony that will celebrate sift successes. General genres for these so-called "Sifty Awards" can range from "Most Votes per Sift" to "Most votes per comment". We can even get silly and point out "Comment with most downvotes" or "Quickest Submission to be Discarded due to downvotes".

I don't know what kind of power the bishops of sift may have, or the numbers they keep. But if it is at all possible, I think it'd be great fun! Prizes aren't necessary as it's just fun to see your name on screen. What do you all think?
