Slow VideoSift
Is it me or is the website really slow? I takes over 1 min to open a video page. I need my daily videosift fix, but i can't wait this long to open 1 page.

We are still having some technical problems and we're trying to work through them. However we are currently still unsure of exactly what is the cause of it all.
Dag said in the lounge it is some DNS trouble with the company that hosts the domain name...
Yes. They disabled our domain for no reason at all, so we hoped that was the sole source of the problem, but we got them to re-enable the domain but we're still having problems.
Some subdomains are working (probably thanks to caching) while others cannot be found which leads me to believe there is still a DNS problem but we don't know why.
@mkone- where are you located, geographically?
Is anyone having this slowness? Dag (in Australia) was also last night but I (in California) wasn't. Currently all I'm experiencing is the spotty availability of different subdomains.
Very slow, am in London. Works eventually but it's minutes between pages.
I just did a /flushdns and suddenly, on this pc (yet to test on my home laptop) Videosift is now ok.
Or maybe it just co-incided with someone flipping levers somewhere.
It just co-incided with someone flipping levers somewhere. It's been bad all day, but now it seems to work just fine.
I think I just fixed the problem. All subdomains are working again.
If some time passes and you are still experiencing slowness, please let us know.
It is fine now. It came back like 30 minutes ago?
OpenDNS couldn't find videosift.com earlier.
Located in Sweden
could not connect to videosift.com at all
until now
Its been very slow this morning here and then off by the time I got to work
Fine here now in Canada.
Last night it was embarrassingly slow at home.
It is now fast for me. Was slow since last evening. I am in the northeast of USA.
All fixed, Britain. Nice work lucky.
Works fine here(Finland)again.
