Removed at the Request of Copyright Owner
YouTube has this message in place of a 60 Minutes clip posted in the queue:
"This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner CBS Corporation because its content was used without permission."
I guess we will be seeing more messages like this on YouTube.

I think they used to just say "This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner" Now maybe they are listing the copyright owner so we will direct our ire there instead of at YouTube.
Yeah, I noticed this too.
I'm sure this is not some new youtube policy and I imagine the message itself was specified by youtube execs as the result of CBS lawyers. It would be nice if I were wrong, though.
The copyright policy is not new. The message is a lot more specific than in the past.
We're going to see a lot more of it as the traditional networks start selling shows and clips via iTunes and Google Video. Their Stand Operating Procedure is to go after everything, even if 99.99% of what is out there will never be offered for sale.
