New rule avatar spamming subject to *bannination
Sneaky, this spammer uploaded an avatar which is almost like comment spam, but it is an image.
A few comments here and there and you can promote your website. Or maybe I should be contacting Snapple myself and seeing if I can't get a contract to promote some products.
Hmm, I wonder if I'm not working for Columbia Pictures trying to push a seven year old movie... D'oh..

that's damn good work there, soldier.
Can we flex the *quality *instaban on they asses?
I agree, we need to make another rule.....
choggie cannot award a quality point for this Sift Talk post because choggie does not have enough Power Points - ignoring quality request by choggie.

But the issue isn't this one spammer but the innovative image spam.
Not to mention the quality of their paltry productions....so uninspired and lacking in creativity-
This is really a non-issue - if someone is spamming you just ban them.
Is it? What happens when I change my Avatar to gagmefilms.com, because I will to prove a point.
Also, there are now comments laying around with website spam in the avatar. I think it should be clear that comment spam and image spam are not allowable. JR runs around cleaning up comments like "Check out my hot friend at hotsexygunney.com"
I think once your banned, everything dealing with you.. name, profile pages posts.. anything should just be deleted. Very few of those that are banned have contributed anything other than spam so i doubt thread continuity would get messed up so no big deal.
yeah, i will nuke this dudes avatar. I certainly agree that avatar spam is a no no and is worthy of the ban hammer.
