Flat-Earthers Unite!

You thought Creationists were delusional?? Apparently, there are people that actually believe the Earth is flat, and that all the evidence to the contrary is part of a massive worldwide conspiracy.

I wish I had some witty joke, but I'm simply left speechless.

Of course the world is flat. After all, when a large chunk of matter explodes and sends pieces of itself hurtling through the galaxies, the pieces are always flat discs with monsters guarding the edges. Duh.

I move that the news media start being "fair and balanced" by letting us hear "both sides of the debate" every time they talk about topics that include:

Space Exploration
Global trade routes
Seasons
Time Zones
The Horizon
Sunrise/Sunset
Tides
Eclipses

Seasons - that one really nails it.

The two questions I wanted to ask these jokers are (and maybe they have "answers" for them on their website, I don't know - I got tired of looking at it):

1) How do you explain the Earth's magnetic field and the function of compasses?

2) How does GPS work on a flat earth assuming there are no satellites that "orbit" it?

MarineGunrock says...

I just want to know how, with all of our technology, we haven't seen this 150-ft high wall, and why we have no pictures of it.

Also, why haven't we scaled the wall? It's not like 150 feet is all that much. What's on the other side?

Farhad2000 says...

The magnetic field is simply a formation of large metals at certain northernly sections of the flat disc we call earth.

The satellites are just always up above, orbiting the flat disc in geostationary orbit.

The flat discs are so flat they seem like spheres to us. We are not worthy for his noddleness.

Payback says...

Flat Earthers are just engaging in a philosophical exercise, they don't truly disbelieve the concept of a globe. They are just planting themselves out at the fringe to prove a point that too much skewed, unproven information is being put forth as fact. Unfortunately, they make Intelligent Design proponents look sane by comparison.

I'd like to address all of your questions now. One by one:

1. God
2. God
3. God
4. God
5. God
6. God
7. God
8. God
9. God

If you have any other questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them.
