Sooner or later, hopefully with the the VS 4.0 upgrade, more preferred hosts will be added (with picture thumbnails, please.) Therefore I'd like this poll to serve as a sounding board for what other video hosts the membership would like to see added. Of course I'm fully aware that Gold Star members and above can already post videos from any host, but that's not the point. I'd like to see everyone, including the probies, have as many choices as possible when posting videos. So hopefully this post will give the admins a better idea of what the membership wants.

While we're at it, I'll reiterate a point I've been banging at for ages: Picture thumbnails for ALL preferred video hosts. Everyone knows the pic thumbs sell, so PLEASE make it so all the preferred hosts have picture thumbs. That's not a tall order, is it? To be clear, I'm NOT talking about picture thumbnails for every video host under the sun. We don't need pic thumbs for www.slovenianmilehighporn.com (sorry, kulpims). Just the preferred hosts will do. Right now we only have 7 out of 20 preferred hosts with picture thumbs. We can do better than that, can't we?

But back to the poll. I know that maybe more than one choice will appeal to you. However, vote as though you could only choose one. With enough member participation this poll should serve as good feedback for the most demanded video hosts. So please vote. Thank you.

I don't know any of those you listed.. I'm relying on videosift for my video needs.

Although, me and alien_concept have been trying to sift a certain redtube video for a while, so I guess redtube could be interesting to have supported.

Everybody should be able to post things from Vimeo. The quality is so great.

Videosift is based and functions on a voting system. Allowing only higher ranked members to submit videos from certain providers that people from the lower rank cannot is unfair.

Videosift is like an apartheid video linking site.
LOL. okay I'm being dramatic. Maybe there shouldn't be a tribunal for the time lapse music video I wanted to post.
Maybe I'm rambling but my wish for videosift is to allow all members as much opportunity to sift all videos from all areas of the web equally. And that's my happy drunkin' Saturday night rant.

Vimeo is already a preferred video host. Look at the 'Video Hosts' side panel; they're listed. If anyone is unable to post from them then that needs to be addressed by the admins.

I am quite fond of 5min.com, and I usually find the funnyordie videos not that funny. However, the funnyordie stuff seems to be quite easily sifted. So my vote depends on what the most important purpose here is. If it is to help lower ranked members along my vote goes to funnyordie, but if it is to raise the overall quality of content, I vote 5min.com.
