If swampgirl wants that, dont see why not. I am not in favour of just doing it because the bright shiny new channel infringes on its territory.

Well, I was never certain why the 70s and 60s channels were removed in the first place. And I think the 60s channel should be reinstated too.

Were they removed? I don't think we've ever had them.

Call it denial if you like but I'm not prepared to say the 70s (or 60s) is vintage just yet.

Not into this idea. Vintage is generally 25yrs or older. 70's is vintage. Vintage has a channel.

Also, as with "down under" or "asia" or "british", I see this being used for anything that happened in the 70's, whether the time period is important to the video or not. Just as anyone with a british accent in a video gets tagged "british".

Re-name the 80s channel to '80s & 70s' or just include it all in Vintage.


Why would people want to sift through so many useless channels when they sift videos?

Is there really a large number of users who go are going to go to 70s.videosift.com?

Would this virtually non-existent number of users really only want material from 1979 or before, not material from 1981?

I have gotten so overwhelmed by the number of channels that I just tick off one or two, three at the most, and let those who really care assign more channels as they like.
