from the movie "shine" a true life story of australia's prodigal pianist david helfgott.
this is the scene where david is basically playing his final exam,rachmaninoff's concerto no.3 lovingly refered to as "the monster".in the end it drives david into a psychotic break.
my family are all pianists,except me,but i have such an admiration for the difficulty and beauty pianists bring to our lives.
and yes..this concerto is a MONSTER.
