WWII RAF P40 Kittyhawk found preserved in the Saharah

This Royal Air Force P-40 Kittyhawk crash landed in the Saharah desert by 24-year-old RAF airman Dennis Copping. His body will likely be found somewhere in the vicinity since he never made it home. It is by any measure perfectly preserved. There is hardly any way to tell that this crashed in 1942 instead of, say, 2002.

Amazing. You could probably load the machine guns and fire them on the spot. Word is the Egyptian army has seized the guns and scrappers are allegedly carrying off parts as junk.
