The Cure - Just Like Heaven

"Just like Heaven" is a song by British rock band The Cure. The song was written from the band's leader Robert Smith's memory of visiting the sea shore with his future wife; an incident that also served the basis for the song's music video.

"Just like Heaven" was the third single released from their 1987 album Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, and was The Cure's first American hit. It reached number 40 on the Billboard charts, and has since been praised by both fans and Robert Smith himself as one of the Cure's best songs.
