Snooker: Do or Die

If you're not familiar with Snooker, this video is all about attempts to stay alive in a frame.

In each of the games shown, there are 13 points left (pink is 6, black is 7), and the shooter is usually behind by more than 13 points*. The pink ball has to be hit first; failure to do so results in a foul, which means 6** points to your opponent and play passes to them. What the shooter is trying to do in every case is stay alive by hitting the pink without potting (pocketing) it and leaving his opponent snookered (meaning there's no clear shot on the object ball) in the hopes of gaining the points from a foul and then potting the remaining two balls to win the frame.

There are some brilliant shots here.

*there are a couple of frames where the shooter could win by potting the pink and black outright but the shot on the pink is too risky to go for a pot.

**a foul is worth four points or the value of the object ball, which ever is higher. (Added after Arg pointed out my ignorance. Thanks!)
